To receive the maximum benefits of hydrogen water, it is recommended to consume 1–2 liters of a freshly made therapeutic grade of hydrogen water throughout a day. However, hydrogen is extremely delicate and it is nearly impossible to be contained. H2-Bag was invented specifically to preserve hydrogen water. HOW TO PRESERVE HYDROGEN WATER
DO NOT DISTURB
Hydrogen is very fragile to movements. Shaking, stirring, blending, boiling and etc., will create pressure and it will force hydrogen to fly out of the water.
KEEP IT COOL
Hydrogen cannot be contained at high temperature. 20°C/68°F or cooler water temperature is ideal for generating and preserving hydrogen in the water. (80% at 40°C/104°F, 40% at 60°C/140°F and 0% above the temperature of 80°C/176°F).
AVOID UV RAYS
UV ray is known to be another enemy of hydrogen water. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and keep hydrogen water in UV ray blocking container is ideal.
DO NOT PRESSURIZE
Nature of any type of gas (including hydrogen) is to move out of higher pressure to lower pressure environment. This is the reason why most of the hydrogen water cannot last, but the hydrogen water made by the Lourdes Hydrofix can last for a much longer period of time.
KEEP IT AWAY FROM OXYGEN
An airtight environment is necessary to preserve hydrogen in the water. When you drink some water out of your bottle, it will create an air pocket. Hydrogen will escape to air pocket which is lower in pressure, at the same time, airspace in the bottle creates rough movements of the water inside the container which leads to rapid loss of hydrogen in your precious hydrogen water.
KEEP IT IN ALUMINUM CONTAINERS
Hydrogen is the smallest and the lightest atom in the universe and it escapes through pretty much everything like a holy ghost. Aluminum is known to be the only thing effective of preserving hydrogen.
However, an aluminum bottle is not ideal, because it creates large airspace inside as you drink. Water will slush around inside the bottle like a rough sea and hydrogen will escape into the airspace drastically, then fly out of the bottle the moment you open the bottle.
Reusing individually packaged small aluminum pouch is also not ideal for many reasons. Those pouches are designed for pressure injection and you will need a syringe or some kind to force hydrogen water through a small opening, causing to add pressure in the hydrogen water. It is meant to be finished once it is opened and cannot keep leftover water untouched by air. Those pouches are meant to be disposable and reusing the pouch may be at a risk of contamination.

FLEXIBLE ALUMINUM SHEET
H2-Bag is not like any other aluminum pouch made of thin aluminum coated materials. It uses a pure aluminum sheet that is a metal, but still flexible. This flexible aluminum sheet makes an airtight environment possible to overcome the obstacle of aluminum containers.
5 LAYERS OF SPECIAL MATERIALS
H2-Bag is made of 5 layers of special materials (PET/Ny/AL/LU-1/UB3) to not only reinforce preserving of hydrogen but also to prevent metal contamination of water.
AIRTIGHT FUNCTIONS
Patented special spout and a valve inside the pouch works together to create an airtight environment. Once it is sealed correctly by H2-Bag spout, it stays airtight until you refill the pouch next time.
BACKFLOW STOPPER SPOUT
H2-Bag has a unique spout which stops the backflow of air and saliva into the pouch.
DURABLE AND REUSABLE
H2-Bag is made of a high-quality material with a precise manufacturing process of binding pouch and spout valve. It withstands many usages and lasts so much longer compared to any other aluminum pouches.
REPLACEABLE POUCH
H2-Bag is designed to be reusable. The pouch will damage over time and need to be replaced. The average lifespan of the pouch is 3-6 months, depends on the usage and care of the pouch. It is time to change to a new pouch when you start to see water seeping through the crease of the pouch. Replacement pouch is available for affordable price.
REUSABLE SPOUT
The spout and the cap are meant to be reused for the new pouches over and over. H2-Bag will not be airtight without this specially designed spout (PP/ Oring: JIS-B2401).
ATTENTION
- Keep H2-Bag laying flat on its side at all times, unless you are carrying it. (The pressure inside of the airtight pouch becomes higher when it is in a vertical position and it causes hydrogen to leave as twice as fast.)
- Do not Squeeze, bend or drop the pouch. (Damaging the pouch will result in a shorter lifespan of the pouch.)
- Keep it away from sharp objects.
- Do not microwave.
- Do not use near an open flame.
- Wash inside of the pouch, the spout and the small cap after each use.
- Only use the water temperature between +5°F (-15°C) to +248°F (+120°C).
- The pouch is damaged, replace the pouch only.
